St. Cyril of Jerusalem
March 184th century
St. Cyril of Jerusalem (313-386 AD) was Bishop of Jerusalem and is famous for his Catechetical Lectures delivered to catechumens preparing for baptism.
These lectures provide valuable insight into 4th-century liturgical practices and are still used in Orthodox catechesis today.
